You sometimes wonder “Where did they film that?” While watching TV dramas or shows in which the main characters are out on a date having a romantic time.
Currently one of the hottest filming locations, Lotte World Mall is a ‘multi-cultural shopping complex’ where you can enjoy such experiences as shopping, watching movies, and exploring cool restaurants.
That’s why this place has become such a popular filming location for TV shows including some variety entertainment shows, dramas and movies. Let’s see, which particular places have been on those shows.
We Got Married with Gong Seung-Yeon & Lee Jong-Hyun couple
<We Got Married> is one of the most popular reality TV shows that feature many top stars and young idols to show what their life would be like if they were married.
Which couple is your favorite? Maybe some of you would opt for Gong Seung-Yeon & Lee Jong-Hyun couple since they are among the most gorgeous and famous!
The Seoul Seoul 3080 Street on the 5th floor of the Lotte World Mall was the place where they ate bungeoppang (fish-shaped bun) and enjoyed some exciting entertainment games in the show.
In particular, they used the retro-style entertainment game room called Fun It, and Kangnam Bungeoppang. The combination of sweet adzuki bean paste, cream cheese and walnuts inside the bungeoppang should have made them happier that day. At the end of their romantic date, they stayed inside the retro tram for a while.
<Producers> with Gong Hyo-Jin and Kim Soo-Hyun
<The Producers> is a 2015 Korean television series starring an impressive line-up including Cha Tae-Hyun, Gong Hyo-Jin, Kim Soo-Hyun, and IU.
drew solid viewership ratings of up to 20%.
In one of the episodes, there is footage where Kim Soo-Hyun carefully cracks delicious meat out of the lobster shell for Gong Hyo-Jin to eat. This scene, too, was filmed at the Viking’s Wharf in the Lotte World Mall.
This fancy restaurant, located on the 4th floor, is famous for offering almost limitless amount of lobster for one serving as long as the customers want. Viking’s Wharf appeared again on Tasty Road, a food reviewing TV show with Olive.
So you’d better make a reservation before you come to eat at this popular restaurant!
TV drama series <High Society>, <Mask>
Do you know where the two SBS drama series, “High Society” and “Mask” were filmed? Of course, Lotte World Mall! The luxurious escalators, stairs, cinema, a sushi restaurant that frequently appeared in the drama series are all located in the Lotte World Mall and Avenuel.
As “High Society” was on Monday and Tuesday, and “Mask” on Wednesday and Thursday, the viewers ended up watching different areas of the Lotte World Mall throughout most of the week. Lotte World Mall has so much to offer for you to enjoy.
